Electro Controls
Incepted in 1984, Electro Controls was established by Shri R Vaidyanathan with a view to render quick and effective Product Support System for the engines, manufactured by M/s Kirloskar Oil Engines Ltd., Pune. Beginning the services with W/WV series engines, the operations were extended to handle the engine range of Medium Engines for both industrial and Power Generation applications in Coimbatore, Tirupur, Nilgiris & Erode Districts in Tamilnadu and Palakkad District in Kerala. Presently Electro Controls also enjoys the distinction of undertaking operation & maintenance contracts of High Capacity Multi fuel Gensets on behalf of M/s Kirloskar Oil Engines Ltd., Nasik.
The Service Centre is equipped with the comprehensive infrastructure to overhaul and test KOEL Engines and the Air-conditioned Training Centre is also equipped with all facilities to provide training to customers / engineers. A Showroom for the sale of spares for Medium engines was opened in Coimbatore in 1995. For the easy reach of customers falling under a radious of 50Kms, spares / service outlets were started in Tirupur, Erode, Pollachi, Dharapuram, Sathyamangalam, Palakkad, Tirupur II and Perundurai. Resident Service Engineers have been posted at Coonoor and Udumalpet. Another service centre also functioning in Madukkarai for the large engine service jobs.
We have got certified to ISO 9001:2000 in 2003 and re-certified in 2006. Currently we are ISO
9001:2008 certified organization.

- Appointed as Authorized Spares & Service Dealers for M/s.Kirloskar Oil Engines Ltd. For their above 320 KVA Large Engines (W/WV Series)
1984 - 2000
- Registered as SSI unit under Govt. of Tamilnadu
- Added Medium Engines Product Support (15 KVA to 625 KVA)
- Opened Showroom and Service Centre at Nethaji Nagar, Coimbatore
- Opened Branches at Tirupur, Palakkad, Erode and Pollachi.
- Approved for ITI Apprentice-ship Training for Trades: Diesel Mechanic & Electrical.
- Opened KOEL training centre at Coimbatore.
2000 - 2007
- Opened branches at Alleppey & Kottayam and Outlets at Coonoor, Sathyamangalam and Dharapuram
- Added Mobile DG Sets for our customer's standby power requirements
- Expansion of service centre workshop
- Authorization from M/s. Auto Ignition Ltd. as their Sales & Service Dealer
- First ISO 9001:2000 Certified Service Dealer in IndiaApproved for ITI Apprentice-ship Training for Trades: Diesel Mechanic & Electrical.
- Opened Second Service Centre at Madukkarai, Coimbatore
2008 - 2010
- Opened Tirupur Unit II and Perundurai exclusively for Spare Parts.
- Started Service Outlet at Udumalpet.
- Expansion of service centre workshop
- Revamp of Service Centre office space and addition of more space to service centre workshop
- ISO 9001:2008 re-certification.
